Susan K. Pickford, Au.D., CCC-A, born and raised in Southeast Iowa, has been the audiologist here at Burlington Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic since December 1997 when we began providing audiological services to our patients. Dr. Pickford obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Disorders from the University of Northern Iowa, a Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Western Illinois University and a Doctoral degree in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has practiced as a clinical audiologist in hospital, private practice, multidisciplinary physician offices, speech and hearing centers and ear, nose and throat clinics.

Dr. Pickford holds state licenses for Audiology and Hearing Aid dispensing. She has over 22 years of audiology and hearing aid dispensing experience. Dr. Pickford specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders. She offers her audiologic services to patients of all ages.

Dr. Pickford has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology through the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association.

Dr. Pickford is married with two daughters. When not in the office she enjoys water and snow skiing, bike riding and spending time with her family.
